What we offer

At Seekasteel, we offer comfortable and fully furnished self-catering holiday accommodation, perfect for families looking to enjoy the beauty of Langebaan and surroundings. Our home is designed to make your stay as convenient and relaxing as possible. Just 800m from the beach.

Self-Catering Accommodation: Enjoy the freedom of a self-catered stay, with a fully equipped kitchen that allows you to prepare your own meals just the way you like them.

The house comes fully furnished with two bedrooms.

Laundry Facilities: For your convenience, the house includes a washing machine.

The house is on the ground floor and has it's own private entrance. The house has a double bed in one room and two three-quarter beds in the 2nd room. Full bathroom, kitchen, lounge and dining room with outside braai facilities.  All bedrooms with ample cupboards. 

Parking: There is secure parking for one vehicle on the premises, ensuring you peace of mind.

Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, Seekasteel is equipped to meet your requirements. Seekasteel is located in Blue Lagoon Estate with access control.  You can stroll along the beach and have something cold at Mark's Beach bar, not far away.  WIFI is also available at no extra cost.

Things To Do

A stunning natural lagoon known for its calm, turquoise waters. Ideal for water sports such as kayaking, sailing, kiteboarding, and windsurfing. The shallow waters make it perfect for families and beginners.  Relaxing in the sun on the beach and getting a nice suntan.

Langebaan is also only 56km from Yzterfontein where one can also relax on their beautiful beach.  For those who want to venture a bit further can visit the stunning town op Darling.  Wine tasting at Darling Cellars and beer tasting at Darling Breweries is a must.  Darling is 63km from Langebaan.

Cape Town International airport is 140km, 1 hour and 45 min drive.  Pickup at airport can be arranged at own cost. 

Just a short drive from Langebaan, this park is a must-visit for nature lovers. Explore the Postberg section during spring to see the famous wildflower displays, go birdwatching, or enjoy a hike or MTB along one of the many trails.

Take a leisurely walk along Langebaan’s pristine beaches. The sunsets over the lagoon are particularly breathtaking and offer fantastic photo opportunities.  

Langebaan is a birdwatcher’s paradise, with the lagoon and nearby wetlands attracting a wide variety of bird species.  A visit to Bokkom Avenue in Velddrift (just 42km) you can take stunning photos of waterbirds and enjoy coffee and lunch afterwards at any of the many restaurants.

For golf enthusiasts, the Langebaan Country Estate offers an 18-hole Gary Player Designed Black Knight Golf Course. The estate also has other activities like cycling, running trails, and a spa.  Just 6km away.

A hidden gem within the West Coast National Park, Kraalbaai is a beautiful, secluded beach perfect for picnics, swimming, and relaxing in nature.

Welcome to Seekasteel, a cherished family vacation home that we, a retired couple, lovingly built ourselves. Originally designed as a getaway for our family, Seekasteel has now become our permanent residence in our golden years. We live on the top level  enjoying the beauty of Langebaan every day, and have opened the ground floor to welcome families seeking a peaceful, self-serviced retreat in this picturesque coastal town.  Although we live on top, we have a private entrance so not to disturb our visitors.

The ground floor of Seekasteel offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. It features two spacious bedrooms, a full bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy dining and living room. Step outside, and you’ll find a braai area perfect for enjoying outdoor meals with loved ones. And with the beach just 800m away, you’re never far from the soothing sounds of the ocean.

Langebaan is renowned for its stunning lagoon, a haven for water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The town’s laid-back atmosphere, combined with its vibrant array of activities, makes it a perfect destination for families. Whether you’re interested in kayaking, windsurfing, or simply taking a leisurely stroll along the shore, Langebaan offers something for everyone. The nearby West Coast National Park is a treasure trove of wildlife and wildflowers, particularly spectacular during the spring bloom.
